1. Report The Incident

If you’ve lost your Emirates ID Card or believe it has been stolen, you must rush to the nearest ICP Customer Happiness Center to report the incident so your card can be deactivated. If your card has been damaged or broken, take the damaged card along with you when visiting the ICP Customer Happiness Center (CHC).

When visiting ICP CHC, make sure to carry the following documents along with you.

  • UAE Nationals: If you’re a UAE National, then you must bring a family book and original legit passport with you.
  • Expatriates: If you’re an expatriate residing in UAE, you must bring an original valid passport stamped with a valid residency permit.
  • GCC Nationals: Being a GCC National, you must bring a legitimate document proving your residency in UAE.
  • In the case of your children under the age of 15, parents must bring his/her original birth certificate with colored photographs against a white background.

2. Apply For ID Card Replacement

  • Online Application Through Website: In order to proceed through the website, visit the official website of the Federal Authority of Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Ports Security. After reaching the homepage, click on “Apply For A New ID Card.” Login by entering your details and fill the form.

  • Mobile App: You can also apply for your replacement card through the “UAEICP” mobile app. Download the app from iOS or Google Play Store, log in using your credentials, and apply for your new Emirates ID Card.

3. Pay The Fees

Once you’ve applied for your replacement, the next step is to pay the fees. Please note that this fee is applicable to all GCC Nationals, Expatriates, and UAE Nationals.

Fawri Service

UAE Government has introduced a new service called “Fawri,” with which you can receive your new Emirates ID Card within 24 hours at an additional cost of 150 AED. Fawri Service is available at the below Customer Happiness Centers.

4. Collection of Your New Card

After completing the procedure, you’ll receive a confirmation message along with the expected delivery date. Normally, it takes up to 48 hours to receive your ID Card. You’ll receive your new card within 24 hours if you’ve applied through Fawri Service.

You can receive your card through the following:

  • Nearest Customer Service Center: Your card will arrive at your nearest customer happiness center. You’ll be notified once your card has arrived, and then you can collect it from the respective service center.
  • Home Delivery: You can also receive your card at your doorstep, but it’ll cost you a little extra fee.
